Reflect on and learn how we can do better as organizations
Be inspired and move forward to co-create, centering community voice, a racially just community
The Summit -- with the theme of "No Going Back" -- will be a learning space where we can deepen our understanding about how to meet the nonprofit racial equity pledge and to advance racial justice and equity within our institutions and in our community. It is also a call to action for nonprofits.
Note: The summit is being offered as a six-part series of webinars from Mon, October 4 to Wed, October 6, at 11:00 am and 2:00 pm each day. The art and theme for the Summit -- No Going Back -- was created by Bay Area artist and activist Favianna Rodriguez.

Design for Extreme Affordability (Extreme) a multidisciplinary, graduate level course at Stanford's d.school or design school, is looking for Bay Area partners for their 2022 (Jan-June) cohort. 10:45 – 11:30 am or 7:45 – 8:30 pm: Tutor Tips Training - Interactive and fun training on how to make the most out of your tutoring sessions in person or over Zoom. Chance to ask questions following the meeting.

Chan Zuckerberg Initiative: Community Resilience Circle

We have faced successive and unprecedented challenges in the past year, with some communities experiencing disproportionate impact. This leaves collective trauma and accumulated stress in our bodies, contributing to overwhelm and burnout. Chan Zuckerberg Initiative is partnering with AllThrive Education to support grantees with practices to facilitate stress management, trauma healing, and resilience building in order to boost our ability to face challenges with strength and creativity. Through these drop-in community sessions, participants will:
Engage in practices to generate self-awareness and reset the nervous system
Connect with and learn from others in the CZI community
Learn resilience-building tools to apply to their personal and professional lives
AllThrive Education facilitators have decades of collective experience working at the intersection of social justice and trauma healing. They bring the wisdom of embodied mindfulness and restorative circle practices to support the sustainability, efficacy, equity, and wellbeing of those working for a more just and sustainable world.
