Arts & Culture Thrive Action Group: Reconnecting the Arts
Tues, July 12, 12:00 - 2:00 pm
Arts & Culture organizations have had a rough few years. To continue offering essential programs and services during a pandemic, many pivoted and reinvented themselves. Now they are faced with re-emerging. Thrive and the San Mateo Office of Arts & Culture invite you to reconnect with us, and each other, over lunch and exchange ideas and stories. This is an opportunity to share how you are doing, what you need, what is and isn’t working, and to reconnect with each other. How can we help you in promoting and supporting arts and culture organizations across the County? Are you participating in OAC’s Celebration of Arts and Culture in August? We look forward to getting together with you in person!

The practice of gratitude has been scientifically proven to provide tremendous benefits. Join Thrive and the County of San Mateo Employee Wellness Team as we explore how to cultivate an "attitude of gratitude" in our virtual series: Thrive Wellness Wednesdays. This month will feature exercises to help us develop our gratitude muscles, and learn how to incorporate a little more appreciation into our daily lives.
These sessions are held on the second Wednesday of every other month and incorporate practices like self-massage, mindful art, movement exercises meditation, and an exploration of ways that we can take care of ourselves for optimal health and well-being.
