San Mateo County Multijurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan Survey #2
San Mateo County is currently updating the County’s Multijurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan to reduce risks from hazards, and they would like your feedback about some of the most costly or damaging hazards we are likely to face: earthquakes, wildfire, and extreme heat. Please take a moment to participate in the County's Mitigation Action Survey.
This survey consists of 11 questions and provides an opportunity for you to write comments at the end of each question. It will take approximately 8 minutes to complete.

Paper Shredding Event Benefiting One Life Counseling Center
Sat, June 26, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Join Donna Marie Baldwin’s upcoming Paper Shredding Event to benefit One Life Counseling Center. During this event a state-of-the-art shredding truck will be on-site to shred your unwanted and unneeded files. The truck uses pierce-and-tear technology to shred your papers into uneven bits that an auger in the rear of the truck will mix up for secure disposal.
In order to give back to the community, this shredding event will gratefully receive voluntary donations to the new San Carlos non-profit, One Life Counseling Center.
Join Reusable San Mateo County for their first monthly meeting of the entire coalition on Tues, June 29 at 3:00 pm! Updates will be given on the work they have been doing to champion reuse in the county. Hear from the communications team, policy team, and business outreach team on current work and what is in the pipeline for the future. It will also be a chance to get to know each other, talk about next steps, and learn how you can get involved.
