ICU Day with Monterra Credit Union to Benefit Thrive Alliance
Monterra Credit Union is celebrating International Credit Union Day on October 17, 2024. As part of this year's festivities, they are donating $0.25 for every transaction made with a Monterra Credit Union debit or credit card to Thrive Alliance! Participate in the Employer Commute Benefits Survey for San Mateo County
Commute.org is conducting a brief 15-minute survey to gain insights into the commute benefits that employers in San Mateo County offer their employees. The survey is aimed at employers in San Mateo County and is designed to help shape future programs that support their commuting needs. Participating in the survey provides employers with an opportunity to enhance programs to better serve their organizations. It's important for the appropriate contact within each organization to complete the survey, and if that person is not available, they are encouraged to forward it to the individual managing the commute program or the HR specialist.

Join a committee in San Mateo County! Become a volunteer representative on the Measure W Citizens Oversight Committee (COC), SamTrans CAC, or Transportation Authority CAC. These committees, each with 15 members, provide valuable input and oversight on transit, transportation programs, and tax investments. The Measure W COC oversees the administration of Measure W to ensure that tax proceeds are invested in a way consistent with the Measure’s Congestion Relief Plan. Applications are open until the end of October.

Art Bias is hosting The Green Studio workshop featuring Wo Shiffman, an expert in promoting sustainability in the art and cultural sector for over 25 years. Wo Schiffman's extensive research and experience have led her to collaborate with paint and substrate manufacturers, providing valuable "green" resources for artists. SVCN is hosting the 17th annual Be Our Guest -- Silicon Valley's most unique nonprofit luncheon and pumpkin auction! SVCN’s Be Our Guest is a fun twist on rubber chicken luncheons where local “celebrities” share lunch with hundreds of CBO staff and community leaders.
