The event is sponsored by the Sand Hill Foundation in partnership with Thrive Alliance, PAL, the Coalition for Safe Schools and Communities at the San Mateo County Office of Education, and Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford University.

Join us for a post-election debrief, where we’ll reflect on the recent election results and identify key takeaways. We’ll review voter turnout data, especially in low-turnout precincts, and hear from community organizations about the best strategies for voter engagement. This will also be an opportunity to discuss potential focus areas and tactics to boost civic participation in upcoming elections. We encourage everyone to attend and contribute to the conversation!

USC Price: Election 2024: Is It Really Over?
On November 13th, the USC Capital Campus and the Center for Inclusive Democracy at the USC Price School of Public Policy will host the panel discussion “Election 2024: Is It Really Over?” as part of their two-part post-election series. Speakers will include Mindy Romero, Virginia Kase Solomon, Thomas Hicks, and Jocelyn Kiley, who will engage in a conversation about voter turnout, polling accuracy, election management, and the future challenges for U.S. democracy. A reception will follow the panel discussion.
Vote for Wellness: NAAPIMHA's Initiative and Post-Election Discussion to Support Mental Health and Civic Engagement
NAAPIMHA’s Vote for Wellness Initiative aims to boost voter participation among Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities by emphasizing mental health and well-being during the election season. The initiative focuses on providing voter education and safe community spaces for individuals with mental disabilities and their supporters, while also raising awareness of the intersection between mental health and civic engagement. They are hosting FREE virtual sessions to help participants process their thoughts and emotions during this time.
Please participate in an important survey designed to gather insights that will strengthen maternal and child health community-based organizations (MCH CBOs). This survey, conducted by Karna, LLC and funded by the CDC, aims to provide tailored capacity-building support to these organizations. Your input is vital for understanding the challenges faced by MCH CBOs, and it will take approximately 6 minutes to complete. The deadline for participation is November 29, and all responses will remain confidential.
Your feedback will directly contribute to improving resources and support for MCH CBOs across the country. Please follow the provided link to participate.
Peninsula Clean Energy: E-Bike for Everyone Program
The E-Bikes for Everyone program assists eligible residents in obtaining a new e-bike through a rebate of up to $1,000. The incentive is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. You can receive the rebate for the purchase of a new e-bike or lease an e-bike for one year through Ridepanda at a discounted rate. Leases are month-to-month with no upfront cost.
