Thrive Wellness Wednesdays with Purvi Shah: HAPPY - Have A Purposeful Playdate with Yourself

Join Thrive and Purvi Shah for an in-person event: HAPPY - Have A Purposeful Playdate with Yourself. The 90-minute Playdate workshop will take place from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm and will include movement, drum circle, and sensory story-making based on the principles of PERMA - Positive Emotion, Engagement, Positive Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishments/Achievements. All you need to bring is yourself in some comfortable clothes. Play equipment and refreshments will be provided.

Preparing for California Wildfire Season: Forest Management and Community Education

Join us for our July COAD meeting to discuss wildfire risk during California's driest months. With wildfire season upon us, community education on vegetation management and forest health has never been more urgent.

 

We are excited to welcome Timothy Federal, Manager of the San Mateo Resource Conservation District’s Forest Health and Fire Resiliency Program, and Cari Chen, Director of Innovation and Strategy at the Forestry and Fire Recruitment Program to discuss their work on wildfire mitigation and education. Our speakers will share their insights on ongoing local efforts to mitigate wildfire destruction and offer advice on how the community can proactively prepare for wildfire season.

Peninsula Clean Energy: Used EV Rebate Program 

Peninsula Clean Energy offers a $2,000 rebate to income-qualifying residents of San Mateo County or the City of Los Banos who purchase a used plug-in hybrid or fully electric vehicle that is at least two years old. To qualify, residents must meet the income criteria outlined in Option 1 or Option 2 and must not have received a Peninsula Clean Energy Used EV rebate in their household in the past 3 years.
