Northern California Grantmakers Presents: 2024 State of the Nonprofit Sector
Thur, September 5, 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm, Virtual
Philanthropy relies on nonprofits to drive solutions and carry the weight of justice. In turn, how can the philanthropic sector increase effective support for our nonprofits?
Northern California’s nonprofit ecosystem drives collective efforts to disrupt systems of oppression in the region. While there has been an increase in grantee centered grantmaking and some individual donors are contributing more, it’s not news that there are still major gaps in funding resiliency, space, workforce, and organizations led by and serving people of color.
This year’s State of the Nonprofit Sector is a part of NCG’s Collective Resilience Initiative working to strengthen our nonprofit ecosystem. Join us to hear from the Initiative’s Regional Advisors about the current vibrancy, performance, stability, and durability. We’ll discuss how funders can support their work, leadership, and organizational resilience.
